The brand and its creator

Woven cotton plays an important role in the choice of materials and makes up most of the looks. From Tanzania, through Benin to Burkina Faso, each of the fabrics is the fruit of the handwork of artisans. Very few are those who work to enrich this know-how and who invest to innovate in this field. Yet this is the whole challenge of our brand: to collaborate with artisan cooperatives, in order to highlight ancestral spinning work and promote better working conditions for each weaver.
Traditional weaving is a centuries-old activity in Africa and it is not uncommon to see, in all regions, cotton fields intended for local consumption.
Today, in decline, men and women work for the preservation of traditional handmade crafts. With this support, Peulh Vagabond creates its own patterns and operates through biannual collections, in order to offer a unique wardrobe to customers.
We continually strive to improve production processes in order to offer quality products, made to last.
